Sneak Peak: Chicago Wedding Photography – Linda & Paul

You may remember Linda and Paul from their epic engagement session here and here.

Well I shot their wedding two weeks ago and and here’s a sneak peakaroo =D

Two words describe this wedding….frickin sweet.

Sneak Preview – Chicago Wedding Photography: Andrea & Stan

I first met Andrea and Stan when I was actually heading to the airport and leaving the Dominican Republic from a wedding.

Some of my favorite images from all time were taken at this wedding, so I’m totally excited to bring you these images =D =D  I wish I could show you the rest..but more will be coming soooooooonnnnnnn =D

Engagement: Jeni & Thao

I’ve known Jeni and Thao for over 10 years now =) It was incredibly fun to hang out with both of them again to photograph their engagement!

Some of my favorite shots:

Thank you for the opportunity guys!  I can’t wait for the wedding this July!

Chicago Engagement Photography: Mariekris & Gavin

Mariekris found me through her coworker Mary when I photographed Mary’s wedding two years ago. She and her Fiance Gavin asked me to try and create some shots that were unique for them. So I came up with a few ideas.

Some of my favorite shots from the engagement shoot:

The first thing Mariekris did when she saw this image was tell Gavin how happy she was that she had bought new shoes for the shoot =P

We later went to Mariekris’s condo, which has an amazing view of the Chicago skyline. I decided to make use of the setting sun and the Sears Tower (It will ALWAYS BE THE SEARS TOWER to us Chicagoans =P)

As the sun set, I decided to bring out a few more tools that I had been practicing with and put them for use with Chicago at night:

And arguably my favorite shot of the shoot:

Chicago Engagement Photography: Jason & Susie

Having known Jason for several years (going on 7 years now), I was honored and excited when he asked me to photograph his engagement and subsequent wedding. For his engagement shoot, I decided to experiment and brought film with me. The results turned out better than I ever hoped!

It took a little while, but after cracking the right jokes (I had to basically make fun of Jason) Susie finally cracked a smile and then some. If you look carefully in the pictures, she has a tear in her eye from the awesomeness of the joke.

Yes Jason. They were “Tears of Joy.”

My favorite images are below, Check out the slideshow above to see all the images!!!!

Congratulations again you guys! I can’t wait for the wedding!!!

Sneak Peak: Jason & Susie’s Engagement Shoot

Having known Jason for several years now, I was honored and excited when he asked me to photograph his engagement session shoot.  More to come tomorrow!

Chicago Engagement Photography: JoAnn & Danny

JoAnn found me when I photographed her cousin’s wedding two years ago.  It’s her turn to get married this year and based on how fun it was to try and get her to smile (she’s scared of pictures), the wedding is going to be just as fun and awesome =)

I finally got her to smile!!!

Thank you JoAnn and Danny for giving me the opportunity to photograph you guys! I look forward to the wedding this October!!!!

Chicago Engagement Photographer: Andrea & Stan

Andrea & Stan were actually guests at the same table I was sitting at during Maria & Dmitry’s wedding reception, so I was totally flattered that they remembered me when it was their turn to get married.

Wanting to try a location I hadn’t shot at before, I asked them to meet me at the Art Institute of Chicago.  Some of my favorite shots are below:
